In 2006, Dr. Black published The Anti-inflammation Diet and Recipe Book, which is sold internationally and in local bookstores. She now enjoys promoting her book and giving educational lectures in her community. Dr. Black has also published articles in various nutrition magazines.
Dr. Black also divides her time between her two Oregon clinic locations offering family health care to Portland, McMinnville, and surrounding counties. She specializes in women’s medicine and natural hormone balancing for menopause, as well as childhood wellness including gastrointestinal issues, chronic asthma and acute and chronic illness in children. Because of her thirst for knowledge, she continues to study and research vaccinations, hormones, new treatment ideas, and cutting edge techniques used to improve health. She is currently working on two new books: the first covering childhood development, vaccinations, nutrition, and at-home treatments and a second one covering inflammation, diet and recipes, chronic illness, and disease prevention.
Dr. Black enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Jason Black, and their two beautiful and spirited daughters. They love to experiment with fun food and drink creations and celebrate life with friends and family.
