The first booksigning took place on June 25th at Everone’s Books on Ellio Street in Brattleboro. Dede read excerpts from her journal entries in the book before a warm and receptive crowd of around 40 people. Thanks to photographer, Doug Frank for taking some nice photos and for all the folks who turned out for the inaugural event!

Dede hopes to read at another local venue, The Book Cellar, soon, and throughout Vermont, NH, and Mass., ending an East Coast tour at her friend, Annie Hartman Phillbrick’s store, Bank Square Books, in Mystic CT.

Dede Cummings, and Jessica Black, N.D., will begin a West Coast tour on August 24th in Portland, Oregon. This coincdes with Dede seeing her son, Joey, off to college at Lewis & Clark College right in Portland. Check back for the West Coast tour dates and locations TBD. Some tentative readings and signings include Portland: Powells and Borders.

Seattle: University of Washington Medical School and various bookstores in Seattle
